I would like to help chase down this problem

Zope and Plone seem to work OK together threads in python as does Trac 
and Subversion.

mod_python 3.1.3 though chokes with threads enabled

So if I recompile without  threads and load mpservlets It fails on no 
module pthread:

Do I need a www writable tmp file?
