That's exactly what I did for older skype port and everything worked
very well for me. IMHO, as long as our linux emulation always emulates
32-bit Linux all ports that have only i386 in the allowed archs should
also add amd64. Unless, probably, this is something that installs a
kernel module.

Before I start, is it known that fc6 or f7 can work on 6.2 (not even
RELENG_6) ? If there are any success stories, then I'll give it a try
And if RELENG_6 is better in this respect than 6.2, then I'll wait for 6.3.

This is my current situation, 1.4 doesn't work for me so far.
