Come on, Randy. Give us a hint. Do you have /dev/dvd? /dev/cdrom? How
are they protected?

I use the following /etc/devfs file:
link cd0 cdrom
link cd0 dvd
perm cd0 0666
perm acd0 0666
perm pass0 0666
(plus a bunch of other stuff that is unrelated to CDs.)

This assumes atapicam. If you don't use it, skip the "perm cd0" line and
change the links from "cd0" to "acd0".
